SKM-P Cable sleeves

The cable penetration into the fire-resistant cabinet while maintaining the UKM‑P function is designed specifically for this type of cabinet to prevent the spread of fire and heat into the interior of the cabinet, including heat transfer through the cables themselves. Cable penetrations are usually placed in the ceiling of the cabinet or in the bottom of the cabinet.

Installing the cables is very easy. It is done by pulling the cables through the cable penetration. Then, the top of the penetration and the through cables are coated with fire-resistant cable paint. After the paint dries, a strong and flexible cable seal with the required fire resistance is ensured. No additional sealants or sealing compounds are needed to seal the penetration.
