Cable penetrations EI Cabinets

Cable penetrations into fire-rated enclosures are designed specifically for this type of enclosure to prevent the spread of fire and heat through the cable gland, including heat transfer through the cables themselves. Cable penetrations are usually placed in the ceiling of the enclosure or in the bottom of the enclosure.
